Minimise your risk, respond authentically to your stakeholders and get clear on what is most important.
A Double Materiality Assessment identifies and prioritises ESG issues on a matrix by what is most relevant to your organisation. As an essential stakeholder engagement exercise, you will learn what is key to your most important stakeholders (internal and external) and critical to your financial success. It is the first step on your sustainability journey and should be conducted every 2 to 3 years.
Minimise your risk, respond authentically to your stakeholders and get clear on what is most important. Sustainability is crowded space filled with issues competing for priority like modern slavery, diversity equity and inclusion, climate change, biodiversity and much much more. It is impossible to tackle all these issues at the same time whilst also running a profitable business.
Based on International best practice and European law, we conduct our assessments in accordance with the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) EFRAG Double Materiality IG1 guidelines. A major bonus is we train you as we go, building the knowledge in your team so our services aren't necessary. Your next assessment can be managed in house.
You will have the opportunity to align your sustainability actions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Trained to report in accordance with the UNSDG framework, One Brave Step can assist your organisation transparently communicate your action.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice.
"Henrietta helped our organisation with a double materiality assessment which was a very insightful and pleasant experience.
We were fully informed at each step and knew what to expect next.
Henrietta was patient with all our questions and skillfully simplified a complicated process for us while delivering what we needed at the same time.
I would definitely recommend Henrietta and One Brave Step for your ESG needs!"

"The double materiality assessment is a useful tool for our organisation in developing a strategic plan to ensure we are meeting ESG responsibilities for our stakeholders.
From day one, Henrietta was clear, professional, driven and supportive. She clearly knows what she is talking about and is passionate about delivering for her clients.
She provided personalised guidance throughout the consultation period, and even took the time to explain how we could complete the process ourselves in the future. Highly recommend!"
